Rebecca is an Investment Associate on the Snowball private markets impact investment team. Her responsibilities include sourcing, screening and conducting due diligence on new investments, as well as managing the portfolio and monitoring financial and impact performance. She also contributes to investor communications, reporting and wider sector engagement.
Rebecca joined Snowball in 2023 and has over eight years’ experience in impact investing and sustainable development. She started her career in research and business development roles, at Sanergy in Nairobi, improving sanitation through a circular-economy model, and at the 2 Degrees Investing Initiative in Paris, working to align financial markets with climate goals. Prior to joining Snowball, Rebecca worked in the investment team at Social and Sustainable Capital, funding impactful organisations across the UK.
She holds an MSc in Sustainable Development and Environmental Economics and an MA in French and German from the University of St Andrews. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Buglife.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors: running, hiking and spending time by the sea, as well as baking and playing chess.

She believes that freedom from poverty and access to clean, safe water and sanitation are fundamental basic human needs that no person should be without. In a world with unprecedented wealth and technological advancement, Rebecca finds it deeply unjust that so many people still lack access to these essentials. She recognises that prioritising these basic needs is critical to creating fairer societies, healthier communities, and sustainable development for future generations.
