David is Chair and Co-Founder of Tribe Impact Capital. A recognised leader across business and finance, David plays a central role in shaping Tribe’s vision and growth.
David is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Scott Capital Partners, an independent private investment office. Prior to this, he founded Vestra Wealth, growing the business from start-up in 2007 to £20bn in assets and £100m in revenue before its sale to the LGT Group.
Earlier in his career, David was Managing Director at UBS in London, where he led the UK high net worth division. He also co-founded Scott Goodman Harris, a boutique advisory firm, where he served as Managing Partner.
David remains an active investor in early-stage businesses, particularly in the sustainable and renewable energy sectors, and sits on the advisory boards of a select number of companies. When not at work, David enjoys spending time with his family.

David’s values are most closely aligned to a sustainable world. Having grown up in Zambia and Northern Ireland before moving to London he is only too aware of the pressures that urbanisation causes on the environment, resources and economies.
He believes that the private sector need to support the challenges faced by directing greater capital and human resources towards addressing and supporting these issues across the globe.
